The philosophy underpinning Successful Speaking’s training is that the best environment in which to learn and improve is a challenging, yet non-threatening one. Successful Speaking creates a welcoming, informal and fun environment, where laughter and group support puts you at ease so that you can expand your comfort zone in a supportive, and encouraging environment. We help people to build mental links between speaking to others and a feeling of enjoyment, to further increase confidence. Training is always carried out in a supportive, fun and interactive environment. Over the years we have devised proven and inspiring ways to help people speak with impact, including colourful imagery to help people understand concepts (snakes, teapots, rainbows and elephants are most peoples’ favourites!). We use a games theme throughout the course to further enhance the learning process. Course Facilitator

“It was a huge benefit! My feeling of fear and trepidation has changed to expectation and anticipation for a great presentation!! Thank You!” J. V. “The course was fantastic. It has prompted me to get into public speaking and generally overcome a debilitating fear.” H. B. "Just wanted to say I thoroughly enjoyed Friday and really enjoyed the opportunity to work with you. I took some really good things away with me and feel it was the best and most comfortable environment to practice something I find particularly frustrating. As a person who has never been seen as shy, it's hard getting people to believe how panicked you can get in front of a group. I felt comfortable enough to practise what you'd taught, and I will be starting my practice tomorrow!" A. T. Wellington "The 'Successful Speaking Experience' was a really valuable, enjoyable day. Kim is an excellent trainer, communicating her ideas effectively and helping others do the same. Kim gave lots of great tips on how to present with impact. The relaxed, all female environment increased my confidence in public speaking. I'd definitely recommend the course to others." E.L. Wellington "I would like to commend Kim Chamberlain's workshop 'The Successful Speaking Experience’ to anyone who is looking to take the first steps towards gaining confidence in public speaking. The one-day women-only workshop provided participants with the tools to enable public speaking to be less scary. Kim's empathy with the group and her programme planning made the workshop a comfortable and enjoyable experience." Jan Cranston, Wellington
